Maven POM Updater

This application recursively scans a folder structure of Maven projects and updates the versions of each pom.xml file. This works great for a large application (say 30 poms arranged into a three-level parent hierarchy) that version each artifact with the same number. With a tool like SmartGit that supports Git Flow, you can create or close a hotfix or release in minutes.

This is a quiz game application that drills your knowledge of the upper register of the bass guitar. In bass clef notations, there are a lot of ledger lines and this is meant to improve sight reading skills.

Way Simple Capitals

This is a quiz that drills you on the 50 U.S. state capitals. There are two modes of play: multiple choice (see screenshot below) and fill-in-the-blank. When you start the app, select Easy for the multiple choice or Harder for the fill-in-the-bank. Answer each question. You can press Finish at any time to cut the quiz short.
